Build a camera-accessory compatibility sheet your warehouse can use
Record exact host models, mounting interfaces and evidence instead of relying on a generic compatible-with label.

One row should describe one approved combination
Create separate columns for accessory SKU, host model, required adapter, manufacturer reference and sample-check result. A broad “Osmo compatible” entry is not useful when different cameras use different attachments or electrical connections. Keep unverified combinations visibly unapproved instead of filling gaps from a similar-looking product.
Separate mechanical and electrical checks
A cold-shoe attachment, a ball-joint mount and a powered extension rod need different evidence. Mechanical fit does not establish that charging, audio or control functions work. For the Osmo 360 battery extension rod, confirm the named host and supplied connection arrangement; do not describe a powered accessory as a generic selfie stick.
- Capture the reference URL and review date.
- Record required firmware only when the source specifies it.
- Keep adapters and cables in the approved combination.
Use the sheet at quotation and dispatch
Attach the approved combination to the sales line and warehouse picking instruction. If a buyer changes the camera model, reopen the compatibility review instead of reusing the old approval. After an update, retain the prior decision with its date so support staff can understand exactly what was shipped and what evidence was available.
Common buyer questions
Frequently asked questions.
Can a successful fit test replace manufacturer compatibility guidance?+
No. It is useful sample evidence, but it does not establish unsupported electrical functions, safety limits or long-term suitability.
