01 / SOURCE SIGNALS

What the manufacturer announced

  • The official instax news index lists Pal 2 and Link WIDE 2 announcements dated 15 September 2026.
  • These announcements concern distinct parts of the imaging workflow. A capture-device listing should not be assumed to mean that film is loaded into that device.
  • Use each model’s official product page to confirm its workflow, supported app and film requirements. Existing Pal or Link stock must remain clearly identified by generation.
02 / BUYER CHECKLIST

What an importer should verify

  • Define whether the customer needs capture, printing or a complete supported workflow. Check app and device compatibility before preparing a combined offer.
  • Keep printer hardware, film format, frame style and pack quantity as separate order lines. A shared instax brand does not make mini, SQUARE and WIDE film interchangeable.
  • Request actual regional launch availability and warranty handling. Do not use photographs of an earlier generation as evidence of the newly announced hardware.
03 / TRADE PERSPECTIVE

How we translate the signal into an RFQ

For photo retailers, a hardware announcement is also a replenishment-planning opportunity. Evaluate the consumable format and expected print use, but avoid assuming that interest in a new device immediately produces confirmed film demand. This update adds verified announcement coverage without representing either new model as inventory already held by our business.
