WAVE 3 buying questions: survey the space and duct route first
Assess an outdoor cooling or heating enquiry by room conditions, ventilation arrangements and intended operating method.

Describe the space realistically
A tent, vehicle cabin and insulated room behave differently. Ask for dimensions, occupancy, sun exposure and the conditions in which the buyer expects to use the appliance. Do not convert a marketing scene into a promise that WAVE 3 will maintain a particular temperature in an unspecified space.
Resolve the physical installation
Use the official WAVE 3 instructions to identify the required ducting, clearance and drainage arrangements for the intended mode. Check how openings will be accommodated without obstructing airflow or creating hazards. If the location cannot support the instructed setup, changing the battery bundle will not solve the underlying application problem.
Write a conditional sample objective
A sensible sample brief describes the starting conditions, setup and observation period. Record ambient and indoor conditions and the selected mode rather than judging performance from a brief sensation of cold air. This is a proposed suitability check, not a certified cooling-capacity test.
- Specify mains or compatible battery operation.
- List included ducts and accessories.
- Identify who will install and maintain the setup.
Common buyer questions
Frequently asked questions.
Can a seller promise room coverage from floor area alone?+
That is insufficient. Insulation, heat gain, openings, operating conditions and the manufacturer’s limitations also matter. Evaluate the actual space and communicate the conditions of any performance claim.
