Choose an instax printer by film format before comparing features

The refill format is the first decision

mini Link 3 and mini Link+ use instax mini film, SQUARE Link uses instax SQUARE film, and Link WIDE 2 uses instax WIDE film. Treat these as three separate replenishment systems. A buyer who already stocks one film format may value that continuity more than a feature that requires another consumable line.

Plan the image shape as well as the hardware

Ask how customers will use the prints: keepsakes, displays, event handouts or personal albums. Demonstrate the intended image framing in the printer’s supported app before ordering a large assortment. A photo composed for one print shape may need a different crop for another. Do not promise identical composition across mini, square and wide formats.

• Identify the printer and film on separate quotation lines.
• Check phone and app requirements for the destination.
• Approve color and package contents independently of film format.

Prevent a receiving mismatch

Mark each carton with the actual film family rather than “instax refill.” Keep a printer-format reference beside the receiving checklist and count retail packs separately from exposure totals. Film appearing in promotional material does not establish that a printer carton contains it; obtain the packing list for the ordered version.
